Surprised, but this bottle was OTH. Terribly sherried. Purchased at release and stored well. Previous bottle 2 years a go was very good. Not sure if a bad bottle or heading OTH.

Love the prominent yeasty aroma, long finish and food friendly acidity. Very good American sparkler, but not quite at the level of a similar priced champagne.

Even though I read a review, I still wasn't expecting a 'rose' sparkling wine - probably because this is in a dark green bottle. Blanc de Noirs (72% Pinot Noir and 28% Chardonnay) Light salmon in color - Dry, NOT fruit-forward, felt most of the bread/yeasty aroma was the main show here. Med + acidity. Nice length. While we all finished our glass, I felt this bottle may have hit its limit on ability to age longer. May still be …

A very pretty, light salmon/orange Blanc de Noirs (72% Pinot Noir and 28% Chardonnay). Med (+) ripe apple, strawberry, watermelon, pink grapefruit, graham cracker, toast. Relatively fresh and youthful, despite three years of lees aging. Dry, but quite fruit-forward, with med to med (+) acidity. Med (+) flavor intensity and nice length. Showing exceptionally well and should continue to do so for several more years. Great QPR. WS 92, WE 95

I don't frequently agree with a producers' TN's, here I do. Two day open bottle still had the mousse and complemented some crème brûlée.

Nice for a Cali sparkling wine. Still with the tinny, flat austerity I find characterizes domestic sparklers. Cork ejected itself right after muzzle was removed, so use caution.

Tasted at vineyard. Enjoyed. One of our favorites from IH The wine looks rosy colored. There is no sediment in the bottle.

Today is a very sad day...the last bottle of this from my cellar has been opened (oh Ryan, where are you?) The initial flavors are crisp and clean with bright acidity and clean fruit. It is so refreshing, the 80 degrees plus humidity on the deck are hardly noticeable. As it warms in the glass, I just can’t drink it fast enough, the graphite flavors come out, but the mouth feel continues to entice. I must refresh the contents of …

A good deal of yeast on the nose initially. The bubbles are large and plentiful. Pale straw in color. Bright lemon zest on the pallet that lingers on the tongue with a nice dry finish. This a very refreshing glass. A second glass served with smoked almonds yielded a strong pencil lead flavor.
