One hour decant. Served in the low 60s F. Deep garnet color, no bricking. Nose of smoked tobacco, pepper and dark chocolate. Full, velvety mouthfeel. Dried sweet red fruits, licorice and oak notes on the palate. Medium length finish. Acidity and alcohol are quite well integrated at this point.
