So much better now with some age on it. Drinking perfectly right now - at release the Terroir de la Chapelle was at a much better place, but now with some more years in the cellar, the Terroir Découverte has surpassed its sibling. No reason to wait really, if you still got some bottles in your cellar.

Almost golden color and rather dense. On the nose intense notes of peach, mandarin, caramel, vanilla and a touch of wet stone. In the mouth it’s very rich and concentrated, an intense mineral mouthfeel is pleasing every sip. The grapes are sourced from lieu-dit "Les Pargues", a parcel located in the valley between 1er Crus Montmains and Vaillons, historically considered a top-level vineyard. Lovely wine, charming, ripe and fresh, ripe citrus fruit, nice hint of minerality, but I would not have easily recognised it as Chablis if I am perfectly honest. It’s just so succulent and juicy. But this is probably a new reality for Chablis, something which we will have to get used to. At restaurant Brut de Mer, Amsterdam, NL.

Fresh, linear and full of slate-y minerals, lemon-lime. Not particularly chalky. Also fans out into a bit of buttery dried pineapple, with a very pleasant texture. Very good for a Village wine, but seems more like a wine from the Mâconnais than from Chablis.

Bright straw core, with green reflections. Fennel and citrus on the nose—rather shy, even after plenty of air. Medium-bodied, balanced acidity, crisp and clean on the palate. The fennel and citrus are there, but there are also some riper elements (peach, melon) and some salinity on the finish. Very nice.

Drank over past two nites, last nite being our Xtremo weekly tasting. Nose on the reticent side. Citrus (mostly lime), good acidity level, some minerality. Seemed a bit sweet and overly round/oaky to me--as opposed to the more common Chablis austerity. Nothing special here, & not my preferred style of burg. Prob will improve with age but not something I'll be investigating here

Pale gold wine with greenish specks. The nose is quite tight and mineral, but you get hints of green apple and white flowers. Austere palate with a bit of citrus and lemon, specifically. Solid wine but I would wait at least 5 years to enjoy.

Opened last night. Pale gold with a hint of green. Fairly shy nose, mostly citrus. More forthcoming in the mouth, with good fruit intensity to match copious acidity. Lemon- lime at first, quickly evolves to generous fruit and minerals. Quite nice. Still a good value, but pricier than earlier vintages. 4-11-16-8: 88/100.
