Pearl Morissette Estate Winery Cuvée Blu

An odd balance between galoshes (my term for what I suspect others refer to as petrol) and riesling. Since I don't know what this wine is supposed to be like I'll assume that I either let it sit way too long or I stored it poorly. I enjoy an aged riesling and that sort of flavour was certainly not present.

Ultimate mindfuck bottle in blind tasting. Easily spotted as natural wine but the orange wine character made it hard to identify origin. Interesting wine to try and buy

Beautiful seductive nose of lychee and pears and peach with some smoke-matchstick scents. The palate did not deliver as much as the nose and it appeared more muted, with little acidity on a more flat white peach note. Short-medium finish. Still very worth searching out and buying. Thanks CSM for bringing this.

An orange style 50/50 blend of Viognier and Riesling. Perfume and petrol nose (definitely catching the Riesling here). Nicely balanced, creamy, peach, honey and floral elements.
