Excellent Aussie version of Beaujolais. 13.8% Alc. Colour: light berry Bouquet: spicey berry, smokey Palate: as bouquet, quite full bodied for gamay. Strawberry and gamey characters. Good long finish, clean acid. Lacks the fruit intensity and richness of a good Beaujolais, but more austere and drier. It's own style. February 2015.
