A lovely pinot noir that really gets my attention. What I like so much about this wine is that it is balanced and inoffensive while portraying the terroir well. Not muddy like Russian River pinots. Not quite as elegant as the great Burgundies. But still a good value fruit forward pinot noir. Recommended.

I liked this Pinot for its good price value and because it shows good character. Black cherry, plum, very dark and rich. A more intense style Pinot Noir that pairs well with cheese and food.

Jen and Srinivas had this wine with take-out Indian food from Cross Culture, while I went to the dinner at People. Jen reported it was a tasty pinot noir, with good fruit, some earth, and a very good pairing with the Indian food on a Wednesday night. Good QPR for $16 / bottle (with free shipping). Drink now or age another year.

Started out dark, with faint burnt rubber aromas, but this blew off and it became more elegant in the glass. Indistinct aromas and flavors, but low in tannins.

Elegant Pinot from Chile, strong aromas, deep color, smooth finish. Bargain looking forward to the last one aging more.

Retailer tasting (Le Bouchon) : Ripe red berry fruits, a lot of toast, a lot of sweetness as well. Also some ok acidity. Typically a new world Pinot Noir for a large target audience.

Smooth characteristic Pinot. Dusty tannins. Nice fruits. Good wine!

I paid less than $20 for it. Pretty good for the price. Needs to air to evaporate some of the alcohol.

Nose:black cherry cola, raspberry, oaky bacon fat and beef jerky Palate: needs at least 2 hours airtime or decant to let some of the overt spiciness tone down. After 2 hours, peppery cherry and raspberry cola notes. Oak tones on the finish but not over powering. Has a lot going for it at only $17.

A no-brainer for the money. This was the cheapest of four bottles in a Pinot tasting, and it was easily the second best wine. Smoke and interesting complexity in the mouth.

Deep ruby, rich and fruit-forward, this Pinot is certainly enjoyable but not particularly complex. Raspberry, cherry and cola adorn both the nose and palate. Medium-bodied, fresh, sporting well-integrated alcohol (listed as 14.5%) and a finish of reasonable length, this is a "likeable" but not "memorable" wine. Drink now-2016.
