The nose leans savory and restrained: sour cherry skin and red currant give way to dried berry stems, humus, and a faint note of spice box and juniper. On the palate, it’s slender but grounded, with tart berry fruit framed by iron-tinged earth, crushed herbs, and a subtle smoky undertow. Tannins are fine and powdery, acidity brisk and precise, pulling the finish toward wild strawberry, woodland soil, and stone. Average in quality and value if at $22.

Pale ruby garnet color, sour red cherry, strawberry, raspberry, rose, lavender, touch of savory herb, light body, low alcohol, high acid. Very refreshing and simple, best slightly chilled.
