Goodness this was good. Mid garnet. Lots of juicy cranberry, wild strawberry and earthy vegetables. Great acidity. A real funky, earthy edge, reminds me certainly of Burgundies. But also a somewhat sweeter finish. Really fine, and highly enjoyable.

Aromatic, reminds me a bourgogne. Fruity, fine, fairly complex and well balanced.

Nose: Stalky, flinty, smoky, medicinal, sarsparilla, cola, red berries. Fairly aromatic. Palate: Great balance (acid & tannin), very fine tannins, juicy.
