Fine, but another Cali wine that simply won't take on tertiary elements. Primary fruit driven, middling structure. The hallmarks of both Cab. Franc and Syrah are both lacking. No pyrazines, no earth or herb. What is here is decent, but can't help wondering what could have been.

Deep ruby red. Fragrances of blueberries, cherries, and damson plums. On the palate a rich mouth-filling blend of black cherries, blueberries, and plums with a hint of blackberries. Very well balanced wine.

Consistent with prior note. Fine texture and well-balanced. No really strong varietal or stylistic signature, but a classy table wine.

Blueberry, cherry, camphor, olive. Sweet blueberry attack followed by drier, herbal-influenced mid-palate. Finishes with a mix of fruit and earth, aided by dusty tannins. Low oak. Drinking well now, should stay on track for several years.
