30+ min decant helped alot; remarkably different from my tasting a few years ago, but still very enjoyable... fruit is still present and exceptionally smooth and easy to drink, but some of the structure and body is gone, including some of the complexity which made this so good... that being said, still has nice dark fruit characteristics, black tea, black currant, anise, licorice... I am not so sure this will age as well as I thought

This is a classic Napa Cab from the 90s (figuratively). Good aging potential and complexity. It took about 2 hours to open up. Not overly fruit forward. Notes of dark fruit on the nose and tobacco and cherry on the palate. Classic Napa from before when fruit dominated. I wish had more than the one bottle.
