Had great bubbles and was still great even though it was an older bottle.

Clear light coral pink, medium mousse. Tight pure fruit nose, cherry and citrus mostly. Delicious dry lemon and orange flavours and a very refreshing dry finish. Very nice should develop with some time.

Definetly the cheeseiest, earthiest Champagne of the tasting. I liked it a lot. Dry flavours and finish.

Leaf Day. Purchased in 2011. Virtually no pressure behind the cork - eased out like a regular wine bottle. Still lots of fine bubble but definitely had lost some of its sparkle. Bit of funk on the nose that blew off - deep red fruit on the nose with a wonderful rich palate. Finish was citrus and mineral with a touch of red fruit and chalk. Time to drink up

Pretty in Pink (Craig & Nita's Place) : Light body, very pale salmon color. I agree with many of the bread dough comments. Going towards sour dough and mushroom with more subtle red fruits. Interesting and worth revisiting.

Beautiful salmon core with persistent medium sized bubbles - short mousse though... Strawberry and light cherry on the nose with some mineral and brioche showing - medium intensity. Dry with ripe fruit initially on the palate followed by the underpinning of brioche and mineral. Medium plus acid, medium body and alcohol. The finish is light red fruit with the mineral accent following on - medium length. Delicious and drinking beautifully now and for the next 2 or so years.

Crisp, mouth watering acidity and medium bodied red fruits and citrus. Some toastiness appears with time in the glass.

Retailer tasting, quick notes. Beautiful nose displaying a ton of strawberry, along with butterscotch and canned cherry. Almost strawberry jam like on the palate, with some caramel coming through as well as some minerality and lemon zest. Nice acidity, with a tart lemon finish. Very good.

Sampled 5/27/11. An interesting Rose. Tons of red fruit for a champagne - slightly sour cherry elements. A pretty big wine and definitely not for everyone as there were some atypical flavors for a Champagne - green herbs and a little spice.

Gobillard style is lean, racy and loads of minerality. The rose has a hint of alpine strawberries. Nice flavor if you like this style. There is no roundness to this wine but beautifully balanced, stark fruit more apple and hard pear than red fruit.

Napa Offline and a whole bunch of wine, mostly Syrah (Napa Valley Wine & Cigar) : Pink orange in color. The nose has some strawberries but is much more mineral driven. The palate is tart with much less fruit, more minerals. The is deep and more complex but lacked the enjoyment of the Vilmart. It was very good but in a more austere way. I suspect it shows much better on its own than in a tasting such as this. …

Peach & strawberry aroma, as well as floral - a very fresh smell. Peach in the taste as well. A very refreshing Champagne.

Excellent wine tonight. Really perfect copper color (not really pink) like a brand new penny. Light mousse with nicely balanced mouthfeel. Nose and flavors well balanced and sometimes suble, and developed after the bottle had been opened for half an hour or so. Lovely acidity particularly on the finish to go with some light red berries (but not as sweet as strawberries, more like raspberries mixed with something subtle like blueberries).

Fridgewarming Syrah Tasting : Pleasantly dry with fruity red berry flavors including strawberry and a nice sense of lift. This deserved more attention than I was able to give. Pretty, with good closing snap. 90-91, not discussed as a group.

Most beautiful pink color I have ever seen in a rose. Nice to drink, light, not complex, and not a world-beater - but would happily drink at any occassion.
