Cork is brittle, an ah-so does the job. Medium ruby color. Fresh fruit jumps out of the glass initially. Jammy currents, plums and earth. Still good acidity and very smooth tannins. Definitely still a good wine for a next few years.

Mature on the nose, in a good way. And mature on the palate as well.

Surprising. Opened for 2 hours and ate with venison tenderloin. Robust, smooth, good nose and held up to the meat.

I enjoyed this more than expected given most other reviews. Had this as a pop and pour. It was easy drinking, with some nice red and black fruits and smooth soft tannins. Nothing exceptional, but very nice!

American Oak Red fruit, mineral and eucalyptus aromas. Elegant and easy to drink. Eucalyptus doesn’t show on the palate, but does on the nose. Nice to drink, that’s for sure.

Prime time now. Give it an hour of breath and it will sing for you.

Decanted for two hours. This is tasting exceptionally well and better to me than previous reviews suggest. Fruit is bold and balanced. Tannins settled further with each sip.

Lovely wine. A smooth, meticulously crafted Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Not overpowering at 14.5% alcohol, but full of flavor and a joy to taste. So where's the rub? It's the price. But if I were the deLeuze Family, I would also charge what the market could bear, and for the money, the wine is of quality. Will I buy more? Ya, aber ich bin der Schmecker so I won't load up the truck, enjoying as I do many wines.

Opened and drank right away. Was ready to drink. Did not notice much change over the next hour. Was fine, absolutely nothing wrong with it. But was not something that wow'ed me, nor something I would go out of my way to drink again. A poster child for the argument that there are a lot of really good European and South American wines for a lot less money than comparable Napa wines.

Mellow and somewhat flavorful but very light for a Cab...I was hoping for more based on a 90 point rating. Glad I found it on sale for $26.00. Not worth more than $30.00

A little on the light side for a Cab, but pairs well with steak, as any quality Cab should. The wine does not get lost in the food.

On the nose, vanilla, toasted sweet almonds, big fruit - black cherry, blackberry jam, some tobacco,. Vanilla is huge. Drinks similar but with a slightly bitter, medicinal finish, spearmint, spiciness. Medium plus acid and medium tannins

Truly a weak cab for 2012, so many others out there at this price point better so much better even cheaper are so much. I paired this with a woodfired ribeye and some arugula salad hoping that it would bring out the flavor not impressed

Boring and forgettable overall. Notes of watery plum, thin red and black currant, and some faint wet cedar. This didn't even pair well with homemade wood-fired pizza. Not totally undrinkable, but totally unremarkable on the palate. A near-flavorless wine, practically indistinguishable as a Cabernet - almost like a cheap Pinot Noir. A 2-Buck Chuck would actually be a contender in a side-by-side with this ZD. This wine is best forgotten (which is easy to do, since there is nothing memorable …

Enjoyed a glass with a grilled steak for Thanksgiving Day Dinner, served slightly oxidized from the bottle with a nose of black cherry, fig, and wet forest floor, more of the same on the palate, medium body, tasty, long, pleasant finish.

Agree with last person. Still a bit young but has potential.

Still young. Eh out of the bottle, but opened nicely. Should be 92-93 points in a few years. Never had ZD before and wanted to try. Anticipation!

Medium intensity blackberry aroma. There is some mossiness to the nose. A riper mossiness that marries with the full fruit. Fruit spice aroma. Fresh fruit aromas. Ripe, but fresh. A coconut oil undertone. Glycerine and buoyant on the palate, spice and again, some ABV.
