This had some good complexity, cherry and strawberry fruit, and a nice finish. This was not my favorite gamay but definitely worth the price.

Very enjoyable over 3 nights. Not as exuberant as beaujolais, more earthiness and restrained notes of dark berries. Would definitely buy again.
