Cradle of Wine Gogi’s Wine

Strange wine, quite a dark pink. Lots of floaters, so I strained and filtered. I definitely held it too long. Like most wines though, it got better the more I drank.

Dark amber color. Nuts and dust on the nose, and the same tasting notes along with bitter honey and umami and that unmistakable amphora (kvevri) spine. Surprisingly strong effervescence, especially for a wine this far along.
