Powerful and deep. Pungent on its own, stood up well to spicy chicken enchiladas.

Soft and oily in appearance, dark garnet in color. Aromas of ripe fruit, chocolate, wild herbs, and vanilla. Warm and embracing on the tongue, supple tannins and voluptuous fruit.

A little closed and oaky. An hour decant and it was like a blast of oak and some dark fruit. Good and deep if you're looking for something powerful. Overpowered grilled filet a touch, but not overly so. Not what I was shooting for tonight. This is a deep, inky, tannic Syrah bomb. I remember liking 07 better.
