MoT Masterclass - Gems of Amarone and Valpolicella (Singapore) : Good showing here again, albeit not quite as strong as I remembered, had this wine before. Complex nose of dark fruit, meaty, gingerbread, enough freshness.

Matter of Taste, Amarone Masterclass. Mid garnet. Nice concentration but not heavy. Quite dry, low residual sugar. Good acidity, nicely balanced.

Banville Tasting (Atlanta, GA) : Oak, autumnal, red fruit, leather, expansive on the palate, super complex, long; great stuff.

I bought a few bottles of this wine upon a recommendation of an Italian wine Merchant who said that this was Italy's most innovative wine. No less than 15 grape types are vinified separately (3 white varietals) some of them dried in Amarone style. The bottle is special too, pitch black and weights about a ton.
