DuMOL Pinot Noir 25th Vintage Cuvee

This is some great juice!!!

Among the best pinot noir in spite of the visible damage at shipping. Very smooth with raspberry, with light hints of chocolate and leather.

Medium acid, soft and harmonious but some of that trademark CA fruit signature which comes through nicely, subtle enough it all plays together well. Could easily appeal to casual drinker but should be well enjoyed by more experienced drinkers too.

Medium body. Dark fruits and nice balance. A bit fruit bomby and one dimensional for me.

Edgy and fresh in all the right ways. Caramel and broad red fruits on the nose, followed by tart strawberry and wild cherry on the palate. I get that signature green tea note at the back end. I don't think there's any metal or mineral here; it's almost all fruit. It's got a lovely prickly texture all the way from the front of the tongue to the back of the throat.
