This needs at least a 24 hour decant to show anything and even then it's not really drinkable, yet. Initially it was completely shut down. Very dark inky purple. Nose is medium intense and complex with currants, cassis, blackberry, chocolate, tobacco, cherries and licorice root. The fruit on the nose is not jammy or overripe in any way.
