Delicious. Rich, complex palate of exotic fruit. Nice balance. Getting mature, but plenty of mileage left. Nice change my usual diet of burgundy. Glad I have a case of it.

Im Duft noch etwas vom Holz geprägt, steinige Noten, mürber Apfel; cremiger Gaumen, süsser Fruchtkern, sehr gute Säurestruktur, baut Druck auf, hallt lange nach, endet hocharomatisch und salin. Sehr gelungen.

Definitely a notch up from most non-classified growths. Drinking well now.Wine had a touch of oiliness and some complexity, well balanced, showing mild citrus flavor. IMO A fair value, not great, when compared to white Burgundies in this price range.

2019 Château de Chantegrive Graves Cuvée Caroline Blanc. I drank the 2018 vintage a few nights prior to opening this 2019 vintage. Light bright yellow in appearance. The nose was floral. On the palate apricot, pear, a touch of apple. Slightly lighter body then the 2018, still very enjoyable with appetizers or a first fish course. Just opened, this is rock and roll and the best I've tasted of this vintage and all the others I've enjoyed in the past Still passing through it's youthful phase, but a great marriage of oak, fruit and acidity and lashings of butter. Looking forward to the other 4.

Agree with comment about Chardonnay but this note only hit me on account of a strong buttery flavor while drinking with sushi. Drinking alone I get more of the floral accents and some stone fruit like apricot or peach.

Reasonable QPR at ~$25. Though not distinguished, this is a nice blend of sauvignon blanc and semillon. I wish that the rest of the world where sauv blanc is grown would wake up to the excellent wines that blending with semillon brings. White flowers, lanolin, a bit of wet wool, paraffin, plus balance from the chardonnay roundness; acidity contributions from both grapes. Very enjoyable with grilled chicken brined in a simple salt/sugar/water solution along with a sweet corn/avocado salad. Balanced. …
