Popped and poured a few minutes after removing from the cellar, temp about 60 F. Slight capsule issue, doesn't appear to have affected the wine. Rich ruby collar, long legs. Mint and blackberry fruit on the nose, slight note of vanilla. Plum, raspberry and chocolate, pleasant acidity, silky tannins on the palate. Cherry fruit emerging with air and temperature increase. Medium length finish, slightly drying. Well-integrated at this point.

Nice dark fruit smell, smoother to drink with little after taste. Alcohol does not overwhelm
