Domaine François Cotat Sancerre Cuvée Paul et Guillaume

Hands down the most engaging Sancerre to have passed my lips. Pours out fresh and glistening with a green tinge. The nose is strong, direct and piercing with notes of guava, cut grass, capsicum and gooseberry. It is unctuous, thick and slightly oily but by no means heavy. It has so much power and finishes with a touch of fruit rind bitterness. Length is extraordinary.
