Pale lemon in the glass. Vegetal nose with clean fruit aromas, apple, lime. Palate slightly spritzy. Singing, clean, stone fruits with apple, lime, pear. Smooth and round, great balance and acidity. Lovely with a charcuterie and cheese platter (and just 12%).

An organic Grüner Veltliner. Tasted blind in VV. Pale lemon yellow color. Dry, spicy and somewhat green-toned nose with aromas of grassy herbal character, savory notes of turmeric, a little bit of apple peel bitterness, a hint of something earthy and a touch of golden apple. The wine is ripe, lively and steely on the palate with medium body and bright flavors of cantaloupe, some sweet golden apples, a little bit of steely minerality, light crunchy notes of quince and …

Tasty. Dry but with an initial sweet mouth, with tangy aftertaste. Round in the mouth, with an almost beery lime bitter aroma. Mineral bones. Perhaps lychee, stone fruit.

Lovely flinty, peach and lemon curd nose. Dry but succulent, this is very well poised, and with good concentration, especially for the price (£12). An excellent Wine Society pick.
