My pleasant wine surprise of the week, this has aged beautifully and still provides the full bodied, spicy, dark fruited pinot experience that it did 5 years ago. Not typical of Oregon because of it's ripeness and alcohol it is nonetheless balanced and a thrill, enjoyed with Asian cuisine.

Fully mature,well balanced, broad shouldered, full body pinot. It reminds CA pinot though it does not have sweetness or cola components while still being 14.4% abv. Not a lot of nuances to keep interesting but it's nice.

Drinking very well right now. Less of an "attack pinot" than most 06, but still bold and deep.

Did not decant, couldn't get passed the alcohol and heat. The nose left a burning sensation in my nose. After about 1 hour the alcohol blew off a little allowing the fruit to come through. This wine just didn't do it for me.
