We normally love this wine and consider it to be the most consistent, albeit not really Greek, of the Greek wines. Last time we tried this we rated it 92 but we now wonder weather it was an earlier vintage.... This however was quite overweight on the oak and lacked an expressive side and felt linear. Maybe it's still too young but we really expected a lot more than an oaky, ripe wine. 87 at best and disappointed .

As always a very consistent and very well made wine. In a way what Sassicaia is for Italy ( A french wine made in a foreign land but of excellent quality) Rich and roudn wine, firm tannin. Well assimilated oak (albeit there) and just about entering its drinking window. Pretty solid. 92

Effectively a Fume wine style sauc blanc and has seen a good amount of oak. A lot better than six months ago and now showing quite well. Wine has more depth and presence. Itis now starting to show its quality and we really enjoyed it and worth the price tag. I would prefer the Fume Antonopoulos in all fairness among the greek sauv. blancs but still a very good showing. In General Magiko Vouno is a wine of consistent quality …

Interesting nose with exotic fruits, toast and vanills. Mid-bodied, sweetish with nice fruit, balancing acidity and medium finish.

Aiolos Tasting : (aiolos tasting) Warm nose, intense wood, brioche, round in the mouth, high acidity brioche again with medium aftertaste.

Oinorama Wine Fair 2010 : (oinorama 2010) The nose is not giving much, it has a nice sweet aroma but the acidity is overwelming. This was bottles only a week before so it probably hasnt settled yet. I'll give it another try in a few months.

Oinorama Wine Fair 2010 : (oinorama 2010) This was too bottled 1 week before. It has spent 6 moths in american and french oak. Quite open color, very closed in the nose but with a definately sweet scent. This is too rather acidic in the mouth (maybe there is something wrong in this estate's white wines this year...). But, it sure needs time. Low score for now, we'll see in the future
