This is undoubtedly competently made, in that it tastes like a smooth, polished wine without any hard edges. It's also incredibly boring, and tastes like it could have been made in anywhere USA. Some cherry. Some marshmallow-y vanilla. A whole lot of zzzzzz.... Not offensive. Not anything I'd seek out.

Tasted this earlier at VA Wine Expo 2014 and was impressed, had this bottle in cellar so decided to try it out. Nose of fig,plum,currant,molasses. Palate of dark fruit on front, slightly watery/washed out mid, with short black pepper finish and hint of menthol. Nothing life changing, but QPR is pretty remarkable.
