Had at No7 Balmac in Dunedin with venison. Nose of cherry blackberry hint of eucalyptus. Palate is mostly dark fruit, earth and wh pepper. Tannins are soft (already, this wine made for early consumption?). Finish is med-long. Quite enjoyable and good for a restaurant setting. Interesting to know how it would age.
