Les Cailloux du Paradis Racines

Finely tuned nose with some green tobacco pyrazines, a whiff of flint smoke, assorted yellow fruits, and a light hint of butter. The multitude of indigenous grape varieties provide interesting aromatic complexity. The palate offsets freshness with fair depth and creaminess at only 11,8 % abv. This is interesting stuff! A Vin Nature from the Loire region. Unknown blend of grapes, but there’s Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and many rare grapes included. Biodynamically made, no sulphites added. The result is beautiful, lively, and incomparable. Light aromas of tangerine, mountain herbs, floral tones, some oxidative scents. Medium bodied palate with beautiful high acidity and flavours of yellow apple, light oxidative, nutty, mango, camomile. Long finish. 11,86% (!!) - The Jane, Antwerp (B)
