Pellegrini Family Vineyards Pinot Noir

Beautiful, aromatic with spicy, dark cherry, cranberry, and a wonderful salinity. The mouthfeel is lean and very pretty. We decanted for an hour.

Tasted at a wine bar. Deep red center with light red rims. Medium intensity nose of cherries, rhubarb, with some soil. In the mouth, this wine was attractively ripe with light tannin and bright fruit. It had nice acidity and could accompany a meal. The balance should allow this to age.

Medium ruby color; aromatic, cherry, spice, brown sugar nose; tasty, tart cherry, tart raspberry palate with grip and good balancing acidity; medium-plus finish (13.9% alcohol) 92+ points
