deep cherry aromas wafted during decanting, tobacco and brush added from glass, a bit of vanilla too, in mouth lush fruit, tannins gone, a good amount of acidity fills the mouth, after a while and with steak, nose remained complex and acid was tamed by the meat, very enjoyable, 93 on nose, 90 in mouth

4th Saturday Group brown bagger (Rich & Dana's) : Garnet color. Notes of dark fruit with hints of leather and plum. Balanced, with dark fruit, plum and herb tones on the palate. Develops an interwsting feral/wild note with air.

Superbowl afternoon cabernet tasting (Home in Boston) : Generous gift brought for the occasion. Fruit on nose, medium dark color, pure raspberries on palate. Delicious!

Bright disc. Opaque ruby robe with red rim. Clean nose, showing quite intense currants, coffee, cocoa and earth. Full-bodied on the palate, with high acidity and firm tannins. Similar flavors as for the nose. Medium, slightly acidic finish. This wine is very young both in appearance and palate. It was probably opened too soon, but I had only one bottle.
