Turned into the WOTN, mainly by default as so much of what we tasted was off. Bright cherry tones, middle of fleshy plum and spice. Nice, smooth finish.

GEMS on Tour 2014-Austin (Red Room Lounge) : Kirk Venge winemaker. An excellent wine with a great mix of red fruits, earth, and tobacco. Lots of upside potential with some additional age.
