Pale light straw in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of grapefruit, lemons/limes & apples with overtones of floral notes of honeysuckle, minerals, wet stones & some lemongrass. Light bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of lemons & limes, grapefruit and tart green apples, some lemongrass, stony & minerals. Lingering crisp finish. Drinks quite well at present & should develop further with another year of aging.

Taste Wines Blind (San Diego Wine Co.) : N: Slightly closed; Lemons, grass, poss apples P: Med, poss MF, body; Rndish entry with almost swtish, apple-like, floral frt met by acidity; LONG, very slightly bitter, VERY slightly honied finish. Tasted @ $16.99, this vintage apparently no longer available as of late June 2018. [Accurately ID'd.]

A very nice wine, except for the nose, which I hate to say, has a sour junky side.

Nice drinking SB. Tropical flavor and sweetness balanced with acidity. Paired very nicely with pasta with prosciutto and peas in a cream sauce.

First tried this at a festival in Solvang. I liked it and picked up a few bottles. At home, I still really like this wine. Excellent balance. Interesting Flavors. If there was such a thing as tropical grapefruit it would define this wine. Only thing that holds it back is a lack of complexity. Overall great wine.
