Had with pizza. Plum and raspberry on the nose, medium aciidity and structure. Can be cellared longer. Fruit on the pallet matches the nose. A good solid Chianti for the price point.

Fruity nose full of red fruits, especially cherries. But also dominant wood. Very balanced in the mouth. Strong, but well balanced acidity, nice fruity flavours.

Medium ruby red in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of red fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty notes, spices, herbs, minerals & a hint of cedar in the background. Medium bodied with a good concentration of balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, cranberries & mulberries with spices, herbs & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & airing but should develop further with additional aging. Very good QPR.

Cass: YUMMY. A big, fragrant, complex wine with a lasting flavorful finish. Smells of dark fruits (plums, blackberries), some spice, notes of anise. Loved this.
