Overall a solid wine, but it a bit awkward at the moment. A bit unbalanced with a hint too much creaminess. Hope it’s better in a year or so.

This was quite nice. Fresh and open right from the start. Classic meursault minerality and floral notes with ripe orchard fruits. Easy to enjoy. Closed with diam cork.

Initially on Day 1 it showed reduction and was not very expressive, almost harsh with poor mid and back palate. Day 2 under argon it filled out and is much better; typical Meursault notes. Round, not really focused yet but on the way. If drinking now probably an hour or two decant would do wonders. Overall a well made wine opened too early. Think this has years to go and will be quite good down the road.

Wines from SQ lounge / Suites : Didn’t like it at first but it did get better with air. Ripe, slightly exotic fruit with the bitter finish of 2016. Best to go straight to their 1ers.

Excellent Meursault. Needs a little bit to open up still a bit young. Oak, vanilla, orchard fruit. Overall well balanced lacks a bit of acidity but think it’s a quality white burgundy.

From magnum format. Took 30 minutes to open. Once open, a young and enjoyable village Meursault. It's good but not gifted, and for the price I paid for this magnum an incredible value that has another decade of great drinking ahead. Recommended for enjoyment. A magnum I had two years ago was completely closed.

Pale yellow. It did not scream of it's terroir very much, but it was served under sub-optimal conditions in an airport lounge and I thought I would try it. Usually airport lounge wines are dreadful, but this was perfectly tolerable if a bit uninspiring on the night. A bit thin maybe. Definitely chardonnay but I would have struggled to place it, however I'll give it the benefit of the doubt given the circumstances.

White peach, mushy red apple (no peel), and earthy honey. Slight creaminess. Nice punch of lemon-water acidity on a long finish. Refined. I am sure it would benefit from aging but no regrets drinking it now.

From Magnum, this was in exc3ellent condition. It had good shape and a dense core of sweet, ripe peach fruit. There was a hint of spice and a ouch of white mushroom development. It had layers of flavour and not the usual Perrieres spine, but a fresh finish none the less.

Superb showing. Excellent balance between the cut of the lemon & pineapple and the plush butterscotch, along with some marzipan and peach. Delicious. In fact, it was even better on the second and third nights. Over time flavours got fuller and melded together better.

Entering its prime drinking window, can she another 3-5 years easily. Delicate toastiness from the oak. Very elegant and well-balanced. Aromas include ripe apple and melon. Very nice On the better end of village white burgundies

Magnum, bought at auction. Awful chemical smell and even worse chemical taste. not like TCA, not like random oxidation. Don't know what it is but it went down the sink. This was an expensive (non) experience. I kept one glass full and it actually blew off after 4 hours and was sound underneath - a dense in proportion full bodied white. I think I made a mistake here.

Meursault Perrieres blind tasting 1988-2011 : Tight and closed, some grassy notes, not much aroma. The palate was very well balanced with good acidity. Looks like this one needs more time.

Pleasant white burgundy, but clearly a villages in quality. It pours a moderate light straw yellow. The aroma is low intensity, light and airy of seashells, lemon peel, pear, crushed stone, white flowers and a hint of custard. The palate has high acid replaying pear, lemon and white flowers. Very light wine.

Great showing here. Delicate and yet profound core, buttery and lush with a very nice backend. This provides simply what a beautiful Meursault Perrières can provide; a nice happy and admiratif smile followed by the simple uplifting feeling that life is indeed beautiful. Cheers,

Purchased at Domaine and stored in cold cellar. Light transparent yellow with citrus, mineral nose and subtle oak. Viscous delicious palate of unripe mango and length to spare that finishes with roast marshmallow and Madagascar vanilla. Our Swedish house white and an early drinker that should be purchased every year to enjoy.

I've had better aged Meursault. I'm not sure this is getting any better. The oak is heavy handed and it lacked some of the presence and mineral character I look forward to from Meursault. All that said it was still very enjoyable.

Oh yeah, this is good. Full and concentrated, sweet honeysuckle, peach, stony seashore, a hint of struck match on the nose and palate. Lingering finish. I don't get a whole lot of oak on this; just enough to add some tension. A winner.

Tasted blind. Great concentration of fruit here, tropical notes with lots of limestone. Quite oaky however, not fully integrated but I’m not sure more time would resolve that. I guessed Puligny, which I consistently get wrong with Meursault Perrieres.

Sealed under Diam, this was drinking beautifully last night. It has some lactic, almond butter things going on. There are fresh lemon and tangerine fruits. It has plenty of saline minerality and shows excellent detail in the mouth. The finish is dry and chalky.
