Very nice wine. Glad I waited this long. Very youthful. Balanced. Minerality; the semillion is nicely integrated. Nice acidity.

A rich and tightly-wound blend of equal parts Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc that doesn't seem integrated yet. Light yellow, almost silver, in color; full in body; nose of lemongrass and grapefruit. Tastes of cantaloupe, orange peel, honeycomb, and butter, with a somewhat raw finish that shows the 15.1% alcohol. Improved some with air, but it was still a disappointment for the price. I'm a huge fan of Peter Michael's Chardonnays, but this wine just seemed a bit out of balance …

Great upscale Sauvignon. 2 notches above NZ SB, priced like their Chards. Elements of white burgundies, more floral less grassy than SB. Opens nicely drinking well now. Had with desserts, buttery aftertaste.
