Simple and straightforward... easy drinking, reasonably well balanced with all integrated into a whole. The fruit has mostly disappeared and little has show itself with age. Nothing offensive; but no wow. That said, with Seth Kunin having died this year and this being my last of his wines in my cellar, the wine was special and worthy of the glass we raised in remembrance.

Reflects the terroir. For an imitation Chateauneuf, it's close to the real stuff. For $20 it's well worth the price vs real Chateauneuf at $40+ per bottle minimum.

A borderline lush, dark fruit filled rhone blend of sweet red raspberry, complex spices and sweet vanilla throughout. It's drinking really beautifully right now, but I don't think it will last too long (soft tannins and little discernible acids).

Lots of ripe dark red fruit here, but nicely balanced and it never really colors outside the lines. Big hit at the table, especially Mark Z. GT Fish & Oyster, Chicago, with Zank and Co. Grateful Dead 50.

Violet and meat/smoke nose. Red fruits, light spice. Sweetens with air. Easy drinking mellow tannins. It might deepen a bit with age, but this wine seems more of an everyday table type wine in the Rhone ish style. Well made and appealing. Probably priced about right around $21.

Delicate but full flavored and complex. Dense strawberry and cherry, with flavors like a Sonoma coast Pinot but color and structure like a Syrah. Paired well with strong cheese, spicy gazpacho, and NY strip

This is a good bottle of wine. One of my favorites from this producer. Tasted some cherry on this one. I can see this appealing to a wide range of palates.

Wonderful cherry, ruby color with some transparency. Lots of legs. Aroma notes of cherry and strawberry. Very flavorful with fruit forward.

Had this at The Bristol. Paired well with the food, but I was drinking Bourbon before.
