Not bad at all. Lacked the complexity and robustness of a more expensive Malbec, but was really quite drinkable on its own. At the price point ($4), it's a great buy - many in this range tend to be overly sweet and have an unpleasant finish, so this is quite a nice exception.

Decanted with the Vinturi and started drinking right away. Nose: Nice fruit initially, but faded fast. Color: Garnet Body: Thin side of medium. Taste: Some nice fruit up front, no structure to speak of. Finish: Not much finish. Overall: Hey, what can one expect for less than $4.00? The wine was pleasant enough in a New World, fruit-forward style and really didn't have any repulsive off-notes. It's ok for mid-week sipping or for pairing with light foods. We'll probably buy …
