Very full Malbec flavor.

Great. Very well balanced on the nose and palate. Color is dark and stormy and mysterious. Sharp and citrus palate at first and then mellows into muddled spice. Interesting and complex. Mouthfeel is a bit watery though. Buy again anytime.

Easy, accessible, drinkable Malbec. Good quality for the price. Not complex enough for a steak.

I added the drinking window based on other Malbecs in that price range, which can typically age up to five years. I have not tried this one yet, though, as we only have one bottle.

On the nose, black olive, stewed black plum and berry fruit, turned soil and roasted game at jus with a fair amount of oak. Dark and opaque in the glass, it's a feel garnet, nearly chocolate brown with a crimson rim. Loaded with sediment. Still some strong acid remaining. Lots of dried leaves, cigar tobacco and stewed prunes. Aromas and favors of tomato skins and leaves. Very woody and roasty. Not much fruit remaining. Past it's time. Avoid.

Red fruits. Supple, round and a bit creamy. Ok basic wine.

Wine Education Service - Boutique Argentina (LSE) : Very youthful, opaque. A black fruit nose, blackberries and blackcurrants with mint, delicious. Fruity attack, very soft tannins, attractive, a lovely food accompaniment, very long.

A fruity mass produced wine. It's pleasant but nothing special. No complexity or depth, but what can you expect for a $9 bottle. Drink now-2007.
