This tasting note is for the 2012 Spatburgunder Classic. Tasted in their Weinstube in Ahrweiler. Very elegant, layered, classical and long wine with flavours of cherries, strawberries and some raspberries. A great everyday drinking wine and great value at 9Euros. The aromas are nice but lack the typical Ahr meatiness and slatiness. Very good for an Ahr Wine, almost Village Burgundy quality.
