S.C. Pannell Tempranillo/Touriga

Medium to dark ruby in colour with aromas of sweet red & black fruit. On the palate, fruit forward sour cherry, plum & blueberry with background oak (cedar) and medium to high acidity and medium to high well rounded tannins. Long finish and not particularly complex, but balanced & pleasant. Definitely could have cellared longer.

Tangy dark fruit, long, balanced. Very fruity.

Day 2. Rich, dark and red fruit. Some spice. Good length.

Oh dear, I very much disagree with the other reviewers on this one. Excessively bright red fruit on the nose, which is quite winey. Tart but lacking either depth or grace on the palate. Perfectly drinkable, but perfectly missable. £19, 13.5%.

Dark ruby red. Dry spice but with soft fruit at the finish. Good value for money.

What a ripper. If you like this style, I dare say you will enjoy this. Juicy red fruits on the nose which continue up front as I take a mouthful. Some Christmas spices. It's easy and fun and for 25 bucks great value. I picked up 3 bottles today, will be grabbing some more. Type of wine I wouldn't hesitate taking to the in-laws place for dinner: A crowd pleaser without digging deep into my cellar ;) Delicioso!

Gee I like this wine, such a great perfume and flavour profile and so smashable at the moment. Feels like it has the structure to age well too. Loads of spice, charcoal, cured meats with such great balance and weight. Only medium bodied but is really stuffed full of exotic herbs and spices, black cherries and licorice. Probably the best value for money Aus red I have had in quite some time. Loved it.
