Mixed feelings. Not sure if bad bottle or oxidized. Curiously even the oxidized state had something to offer. The aged state had some charm. Will see what the other 3 bottles bring. No rating b/c of this.

Slightly odd on the palate. Settled down to become enjoyable with air and time

On the back of a few positive recent notes, I grabbed a couple of these to try. Overall a nice wine, but not a wow wine for me. I’ll put it down to bottle variation and have a second to reload with and reassess. My general reflection was this was slightly disjointed and a bit clunky. Not my general experience with Lamy, who makes really high quality wines to my palate. Good acidity, good texture. Nice citrus notes, but something …

Very solid but not superlative. A bit of air prior to drinking certainly helped it to unfurl. But overall it feels less complex and dense than the 2012 even if it still had a pleasing honeysuckle and slight lactose character. Also way less kaffir lime than other Lamy cuvées (for eg the Derrière chez Edouard from the same vintage).

Popped and poured. This bottle was not quite as good as the last. It’s unclear whether this was bottle variation or this vintage is starting to head downhill. Still quite good though. Crisp, acidic style with white peach, crushed rocks coming through. Lacking a little verve though.

So expressive and doing fine. Needs a little time to develop in the glass

Popped and poured. This is quite pretty. Graceful floral nose. The wine shows lemon, orchard fruit, a little saline on the palate. Medium to full bodied, excellent acidity and balance. Nicely focused into a satisfying finish.

Lemon, subtle ripe tropical fruits. Lean, saline on the palate. Still fresh for its age. Not bad but not great. More acidic than expected but adds to freshness.

Delicious, not as etched as the puligny offerings, built with such poise. A bit tropical, saline, texture. At a beautiful place

PYCM vs Lamy vs Ramonent (Kolabo) : Blinded. 2nd bottle of the exact same vintage, plot and maker. This was much older compared to the earlier one. Likely to be pre-mox

Popped and poured. In a great place now. Floral nose. Early maturity. White peach, lemon, wet stones. Very pure with lip smacking acidity. Not particularly complex but for those who like classic white burgundy this is a great choice.

Last magnum of 6, opened 20 minutes, perfect cork and level, rounder, more to it, fine drive and nuance, shame last, some upside, 5+ years. F+ (18).

Only 0.25ha lieux-dits owned by Lamy. Bright mid lemon color. Full of juicy citrus and orchard fruits, dried mango mingling with distinct gunflint minerality. Noticeable savoury lees and sweet vanilla flavours All wrapped under the zesty juice with an etheral lifting light finish. This surely can age. Lovely terroir expression here!

Pale lemon. Pronounced intensity, ripe citrus, stone fruit, struck match, wet stones, vanilla, butter, hazelnuts. Developing. Dry, medium + acidity, medium alcohol and body, very mineral palate, long finish. Outstanding quality. Can be drunk now, but suitable for further ageing. Continues to drink really well and at its plateau - no significant development over past 12 months.

4th magnum of 6, pnp, perfect cork and level, essentially as last July's but with grassy notes and hint of sulphur, maybe less energy to fruit and sense of approaching maturity plateau, but no rush if little upside. F (17.5).

Straight away the aromatics on this are quite the tour de force in salinity and mineral impressions, along with some oyster shell and sea spray accenting the subtle ripe lemon fruit. Very open and expressive. In the mouth, it’s medium in body, and the fruit is now fairly light and elegant, showing some soft to moderate lemon lime flavor. There’s plenty of glycerin rounding out the palate, with light mineral and good medium acid that frames well though doesn’t cut. …

比上一支(去年九月)更显成熟,不仅酸度更低了一点,油脂也更多了一点。青苹果有所减退,蜂蜜蜂蜡更多,生姜味依然保留。

This is excellent and I may be under scoring it slightly. Vibrant apple and peach fruit balanced by sneaky crisp acidity. Hard to stop drinking. Some of Lamy's other 2013s have really disappointed me,but this is a winner.

1st of 6 magna, decanted 45 minutes, perfect cork and level, pale yellow, quite leggy; fresh, apples and pears, some secondaries including honeysuckle, attractive, surprisingly complex; medium, long, persistent, fine balance, crisp rather than particularly concentrated, entering drinking window. F( !7.5)…...more to it and richer than the en Remilly.

Lamy Sundays (Chicago, IL) : This was certainly leaner and more acidic than the 2012 version, but at the same time, this ended up with a little too much white hot acidity, so it was a little sharper and more forceful. There's a really nice white-fruitedness here that reminds me of the white Burgundies, but I found this a little lacking in heft on the body to balance it all out.
