Bummer, - let that ride too long in the cellar. Should have drank it at least three year ago. Hopefully no one has any to drink! I would have thought a Spanish wine would have had longer legs.

bright purple color. nose was initially tight, but opened up into red cherries, dried tobacco, dust and loam. the palate is bright and fresh. sour cherries, raspberries and a whole lot of tobacco. almost like chewing on a tobacco leaf. the tannins are still quite grippy. the acid is higher than i was expecting, making this a really fresh and lively wine to drink. this is much more old world than new. a blend of garnacha, carinena, cabernet sauvignon, merlot …

drinking really well now, much more complex than when I last tasted nearly a year ago. floral nose with cedar, cranberry and pomegranate fruit wrapped in leather, just a little light on the midpalate.

Great with steak. Well balanced…fruity but matched with good tannins, acidicy, and somewhat bitter finish

Intriguing mint backing, with plenty of cherry and smoky tobacco. Decanting did wonders for this wine.

a blend of garnacha, carinena, cabernet sauvignon, merlot and tempranillo. aged nine to 10 months in french and american oak. leathery nose with tobacco too. the nose is just so good that you don't wanna stop sniffing this one. ripe, jammy, lively rasberry and currant with some peppery, bacony notes. the acidity and soft tannins are perfectly balanced. for $18, this is quite a deal. (91 pts jay miller ... if anyone cares)

Black cherries, tobacco, bark and rubbing alcohol on nose. On palate - tobacco, then cherry cola and a dry finish of vanilla with tobacco. Very good with food. More old world than new. Anxious to see how this cellars - expect it to get better for some time.
