While I prefer the 2021 of this wine better at this stage, the 2022 is the better of the two wines. It has more fruit stuffing and refinement suggesting that it will be much better with 3-5 more years of age. Tough to resist now, albeit still primary fruit driven like most other 2022s at this stage.

Boom! Drinking great despite its youth. This will be awesome in 3-5 years.

Similar to my prior tasting note. Gave this a solid 2 hour decant and it allowed the wine to open up. While still very youthful, it is going to be difficult for me to keep my hands off it in the future. This is one to drink and enjoy while you allow your Grand Cru Burgs to age.

Love this just as much as the 2021, but for different reasons. Having tried the 2021 less than a week ago, I would compare this as a more pure red cherry fruit and less wild strawberry truffled fruit. This must be due to the strength of vintage in 2022 vs. 2021. DIVA Burgundy Tasting; 3/19/2024-3/20/2024 (Beaune) : Walkaround tasting with producers. I have never seen/ tasted wine from this producer previously. They started in 2018 when they started making wine from these vineyards in Brochon that had been been sold to negociants.
