Company CNY dinner. Poured into decanter and drank over 2 hours. Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of minty herbs, blackcurrant, tobacco, and some salty minerality. Youthful. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, firm high tannins, medium+ alcohol, full body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of minty herbs, bell pepper, tobacco, blackcurrant, salty minerality, and some sweet vanilla oak with more air. Medium finish. Acceptable quality. Well made Left Bank Bordeaux. …

Wow, did this hold up or what? Great soft fruit nose, typical for the vintage. Rich palate, but a short finish, expected for the pedigree. Won't get any better, if you still have some.
