in excellent shape with intense cherry notes typical of Russian river and long length I don't think this will get any better

This really is one of my favorite bottles of Pinot Noir. It has a lot of very vibrant red, sweet fruits like raspberries, strawberries and cherries. You can taste the vanilla from the oak and it rounds out all the flavors and textures so well. This glass of wine takes me to their back patio, surrounded by vineyards, in the warm dry Sonoma sun. It’s excellent with everything from steak to sausage to salmon.
