Alpha Omega, Krupp Brothers Vyd Syrah, Napa Valley

Deep dark purple, violet aromas, deep black fruit with a touch of vanilla, and smooth tannins. Finished over 2 nights, faded some by night 2, so I plan to drink my remaining bottle soon.

Drinking beautifully right now. Still could age some more.

Took to a dinner so nothing detailed, but it is drinking really well - disappeared quickly around the table. Dive in.

A surprisingly robust, very round Syrah. Intense purple with notes of violet, licorice, blackberry, and tobacco. Didn't finish particularly strong, but a well-balanced, pleasant wine.

Not my cup of tea. Nose is obliterated by animal leathery smokey notes.

Very dark purple. A lot of coffee, espresso, dark chocolate and dark fruit on the nose. Nice finish. Will buy some more. Very nice Syrah.

Opened and decanted two hours prior to tasting note. Moderate plus viscosity, dark purple color and moderate plus concentration. Darker aromas of blackberry compote, tar, creosote, espresso, grilled game meats and hints of violets, spicy oak, black licorice and sarsaparilla are varietally correct. the wine enters the palate with a bright fruit flavors of pressed dark cherries, blackberries, black plum and dried blueberries, the mid palate has flavors of baking chocolate, wood, espresso, vanilla, candied violets and black licorice.
