Popped and poured. Cherry, leather aroma. Cherry, earth flavors. Menthol, chocolate in the finish. Simple sangiovese, true to type. Too much mocha milkshake when first opened, but became more balanced (and got a bit of an edge) with time. Very gentle price, good "pizza" wine.

A little jammier than ideal, but enjoyed nonetheless. Would pair well with a marinara sauce.
