Deep, dark reddish-purple garnet in color, almost opaque. Full, forward, & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blackberries & mulberries with overtones of violets & spices/pepper notes, cocoa, earthy/dusty notes, dried herbs, anise, cocoa/coffee & minerals. Full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of dark cherries, blackberries & boysenberries with spices, cocoa/coffee, herbs & minerals.
