Kirchmayr Riesling Steiner Hund

H&E btg : A rather subtle nose for an old-ish Riesling, some florals, lemon tart, yellow peachiness but somewhat masked by petrol notes. Med intensity. Med bodied, there’s a very slight grippiness from phenolics, but there’s a weird oiliness/ mustiness that masked the palate apart from lemony/ yellow fruits. Acidity med+ and more zesty/ cloudy rather than steely and linear. (Mustiness either from bad vintage or faulty bottle?)

Beautiful mid weight secondary riesling that smells textbook yellow stonefruit. 12.5E at Heunisch und Erben for a glass.

very well aged top riesling. still some fresh fruity scents but dominated by dried fruits, petrol, lemon and a touch of overripe apple. super fresh laser acidity. straight and a tiny bitterness that ist just melting in the long spicy finish.
