Very smothe and very drinkable today... Must drink on 2010 as it is starting to break down. Mare's favorite to date... Sean also liked it a lot

Bouquet: Ripe cherry, pomegranate, cassis, white pepper, barnyard and soil. Palate: Ripe cherry, raspberry, pepper, rustic-iron-soil, med + acid, med - tannin with silky mouth feel. Well integrated, bouquet approaching the finesse of CdP, a great value that drank much better than expected!

A nice bottle on the first night: balanced and full of dark fruits, with a tannic edge and supporting minerality. I'm not sure what happened on night two, but it had completely fallen apart. A little sour fruit left, but everything had become thin and lifeless. Maybe I left it open too long the first night? Not exactly a robust wine.

Rose petal , strawberry, dust and a little pine on the nose. Had a nice mouthcoating quality with some metallic minerality and bright acidity. A good pairing with roast duck.

Dark, concentrated, and tannic, with a nose of pepper, vanilla, anise, and blackberries. Stony in the mouth with restrained blackberry-driven fruit. Cries out for meat. Needs more time; a year should do.
