On the nose I got jammy raspberries, with underlying black pepper, kerosene, and leather. The palate was light and punchy, with tart cranberries, raspberries, and a nice balancing blueberry flavor. Notes of leather and black pepper sit further back on the palate. Nice acidity, with light tannins and a refreshing finish

Drank over 2 nights, was a bit tight on night 1 but opened significantly on night 2 to an expressive palate of dark fruits, plum and a bit of spice. Another value wine from Trader Joes.
